How does the App work?

 

First things first 

The first thing the app user must do when starting his/her day, he/she must "clock-in" to work:

  • Open (make sure you are logged into) the app
  • Simply tap on the Start Day button
  • If the button shows End Day upon opening the app, tap on End Day button and once it's changed to Start Day, tap on Start Day button
  • The button will change to Start Job button

Clock-in to jobs

Follow the steps below to clock-in to your job:

  • Open (make sure you are logged into) the app
  • Make sure you have started your day already (see above)
  • Simply tap on the Start Job button
  • If you are physically too far from the job address location, you will see a warning (as shown below)
  • The button will change to End  Job button

Clock-out of jobs

Follow the steps below to clock-out of the job:

  • Open (make sure you are logged into) the app
  • Make sure you have started your day already (see above)
  • Make sure you have started your job already (see above)
  • Simply tap on the End Job button
  • The button will change to End Day button

What about my jobs on other days?

You can access your scheduled jobs on any days:

  • Open (make sure you are logged into) the app.
  • Tap on < or > buttons on top to navigate to the day before or after.
  • All the jobs along with all the information on those jobs are accessible for any day.
  • To see details on each job, simply Tap on each job card.
  • To see the comments on the according job, tap on Comments button on top.
  • Note that each job status is also indicated by the border color of each job card; Grey: future, Blue: Completed, Green: Ongoing, Yellow: Late
  • Note that the address and phone number fields are hot keys. You can call the customer or navigate to your appointment by one tap on according fields.

How do I know if a new job got assigned to me?

You'll get notified of any added job to your schedule:

  • If you are setup to receive SMS text messages by the dispatcher on the dashboard,  you'll receive a text message with the job information when a new job is assigned to you.

  • To see your other app notifications, Open (and make sure you are logged into) the app. Tap on Alerts on the navigation bar on the bottom of your app screen.
  • To see the updates on your schedule, simply pull down your screen day view screen to refresh.

How do I add a job to my schedule? 

Follow easy steps below to add a job to your schedule:

  • Tap + button on top right hand of your app daily view screen..
  • Fill out the job information and hit Done button on top right-hand corner and the new job will be added to your schedule.
